He was gifted 2 fantastic chances in the box and did terribly with both of them.
He had a shot that hit the post and got out muscle off the ball fell over and got a foul for it.

That’s mentality of some of our fans , well probably more than some. We seen with Doucoure, an absolute carthorse With the football, but worked hard and scored the odd goal. He was a better player without the ball
Tim for me falls into that category, he’s good in last nights game and having 30% possession, but if we want to become the team that has 60% possession, then these players aren’t good enough.

He had a good game. Worked hard defensively and was very good positionally. Unlucky with Calafiori's trailing leg and also the one that hit the post. He is a clever player and is on the wave length of Dewsbury-Hall and Garner. He may lack a yard of pace, but he positively affects games and he did just great tonight in what was a fantastic team performance.
Leave off him lads. N'diaye switching off and pickford having a moment were the reason we didnt take something from this game. It was a very good away performance and given the context of it - our 2 best centre backs out and the quality and squad depth of the opposition that was honestly one of our best away performances under moyes. Just so so unlucky

Put it into context. We just for large parts outplayed a full strength Arsenal - who many are saying are the best club team in Europe at the moment at the Emirates with out 2 first choice cbs our most influential CM at RB. Their entire bench apart from Kepa would start for us.
Results will always come with performances and I am seeing a team of players who are putting in some fantastic performances. So yes it was a bitter pill to swallow getting done 2 nil with 2 very late goals, but that should not detract from the level of performance we saw. Play like that consistently and we get into Europe - no doubt in my mind.

No, I just look at context. We have been relegation battles for a few seasons in a row with not a pot to piss in. This is one of the strongest PLs for a while now and we have moved ourselves to being a top 10 team with the 3rd best defence and the second best away record. Thats progress and it will continue if we all stay positive

I respectfully disagree with you saying its the strongest its been in a while. I think its never been as weak and thats why we've been able to make the progress we have despite playing with 10 men nearly every single week.

Agreed. We have made progress, yes, but the standard in the league is poor. The fact we are in European contention when you consider the amount of tragic performances we've put in tells you a lot.
