I said earlier about the medical. His knee injury wasn’t a good one.

From all accounts he's a thoroughly decent bloke. His contributions ha e significantly decreased but, certainly under Dyche, he has contributed to keeping this great club from relegation.

His performance way to Brighton 23/24 was a high point.

Played his part in a very grim period. But he was close to the top of the list of necessary upgrades when circumstances changed. They have. Assuming we get 20m for him, this was a no-brainer sale. The key now is that his replacement is that genuine upgrade. Time will tell. This is what our competent professionals must be judged on: their judgement.

A limited player, who is good at a few things, but wanting in others. It’s right that we should look to progress and move on from him.

Made an absolute huge contribution in the couple of seasons under Dyche - massive in keeping the club afloat and will always have my respect, admiration and appreciation for his contribution to the football club.
