2024/25 Dwight McNeil

I'm more concerned that he could be breaking down. Injuries happen. As someone pointed out he has been pretty dang healthy prior to this season. But he has had two concerning injuries in back to back seasons. It can happen at any time. Let's hope he recovers fully.

Yup and I'm putting a huge amount of that onto Dyche, since about 19 think he's pretty much posted every minute he's been available for him, never subbed, rushed bs k anytime he had a knock, ran into the ground so yeah can't say I'm shocked his body may be having issues now.

But Gaffers day, don't believe in subbing tired players, etc etc etc.

Fair point. A lot of people accused Tom Thibedoux (NBA) of something similar with Derrick Rose before he started breaking down and his career got derailed quite a bit. It would not shock me

We saw it happen here with DCL mate, managers overworking him and rushing him back, also I think Richy broke himself physically by refusing to miss Gabe's during his final few seasons when clearly carrying a lot of knocks.

Remember seeing criticism about Klopp btw, that players after three seasons under him routinely started physically breaking down.

Potential long term injury brings doom and gloom. When he plays he get slaughtered on here most weeks. Something doesn’t add up 🤔
He does get a lot of unfair stick because he is slow and one footed. He is a very good player imo. Statistically well rated too and for good reason. Does both sides of the ball well and has great close control and a great left foot
