them goals today were unreal a friend rang me immediately after both and was saying since he’s moved central you can see the difference in his game. still runs like he’s got concrete blocks for feet but he has improved this season

If you even look back 10 years ago - that Everton team would destroy the current one.

Other than Pickford and possibly Branthwaite - none of this side gets into any previous Everton side for the last 10-15 years.

Just watched the highlights, those were two really good goals!

There won’t be a single Evertonian genuinely gutted that we got three points. Whatever bravado is played out.

I don’t subscribe to the idea that the best we can hope for is Premier League survival and I never have. There are some good players at Everton and a proper coach would get much more out of this squad than we’ve seen in the last 18 months.

But if your bar is that low than you can crack on.

It's a gash side compared to the past one where we had stability on and off the field...but not gash enough to be doing better (we got 48 points last season)?

McNeil is a good player for a bottom half side. Would be a good squad player for any other club outside the top 7.
