…I called it clever because I thought the obvious pass was a return to Harrison who was making the run behind the defender. Players tend to play the 1-2 when that first pass is followed by a run off the ball, it surprised me a little when he opted to cut it inside.

As you say, a simple pass but it didn’t look the obvious one to me (I need to see it again).

Young was very good today, terrific clearance to stop it going 0-2 just before half-time.

I believe those three words popped into my head too. Clever little assist. Not as impressive as that
massive long ball he played to Pickford from their territory though

Question: With anyeai (#10) playing in McNeil's old spot will he now get lost and be
expected to spend all this time tracking back and never have a chance to do anything
positive thus soon falling out of favor until he gets moved to his preferred spot and
don't tell me left wing is his preferred spot, i'd have to hear it from him personally
