I was calling for it last season, especially after Doucoure got injured.

Dwight does plenty wrong on the pitch but he's positive and gets his shots away and keeps going so to me he's better centrally than out wide where with his lack of pace he can get marked out of games.

Get him in areas where he can get in shots and second halves like today can happen.

What's clear is the team's slow evolution has bypassed needing to fit in Doucoure as a number 10. Ndiaye out left and McNeill tucked inside gives much better options on the counter so it will stay like that and Doucs will probably go in January with six months left on his deal.

Yeah, had DCL in on goal twice v Villa. Really good start to the season and if anything the numbers should be better.

I thought he was good against Leicester last week,ran himself into the ground.

He should be used as an example to other players that find Goodison and EFC difficult, especially in the early days, never stopped trying and now seems to relish the pressure. Chuffed to bits for him as i always thought he was a really good footballer
