Dutch Invasion

I'm bringing a party of 24 Dutchmen to Goodison on Saturday after we play them in a veterans football match on Friday night. We'll be in the Upper Bullens so don't be afraid to give these fellas a friendly welcome if you come across them. They are from Echt, in Limburg and the team is FC Hingen.
I brought their manager, a very good mate of mine, to GP a bout 10 years ago - he fell in love with the place, the Club and the people , came back many times and now has a season ticket despite not getting over as much as he'd like....hopefully a few of the party will be similarly 'touched' and become distant Blues.

The Club have been brilliant in helping me get so many tickets next to each other....it's one of those things that makes Everton special. Here's hoping we thrash Cardiff and make the Hingen boys really remember losing their Everton Virginity.

Cheers mate - we played in Holland last September and had a brilliant weekend so were hosting this time....veterans game, room booked with food and bar bar for Friday night, tenpin comp Saturday morning, Goodison Saturday afternoon, Curry house Saturday night then on to a Club....National Football Museum Sunday morning then bar crawl round Manchester From Sunday lunch onwards...The ale bill is going to be massive!

If you convert them all to Toffees mate, could that possible be the beginning of an Everton supportersclub in Limburg? I'm from Limburg myself, about 25 miles away from Echt and already converted quite a few of my mates to Evertonians.

i met these dutch lads from a place called alphen (i think) at the southampton game. they had met some saints fans at an england/Holland friendly years ago in Amsterdam. They became mates - one of them married a girl in Southampton and they all come over 2/3 times a year to watch Southampton. they had a 'dutch saints' flag and all sorts.
