It doesn't go to UKIP anymore mate, all us nasty leavers have ditched that cause now. You get a stright choice of were the proceeds go when you buy a ticket. Its either to the Tory party or to the "knight Nigel Farrage" fund. Two very worthwhile causes to chose from. :coffee:

Nothing personal, but it pales in comparison to British foreign policy for, oh say 700 years. You're not necessarily wrong on our faults, but a little context never hurts.

Back on topic.

Dunkirk is an absolute masterpiece. Possibly the best film I've ever seen. Easily the best film I've seen in beards. I cannot rave enough about this film.

You don't even realize there's very little dialogue in the film, it's that well done. Experiential filmmaking at it's finest.

Totally agree mate. I've seen it twice now and equally blown away both times. (That may not be the best choice of words thinking about it).

The lack of dialogue made it all seem more real to me. Haunting.

I really want films like this to be shown in schools. Kids need to see what lads their age were doing at the same age as them.

I was going to see it in an Omnimax theatre, but it was sold out so I went to my usual, but frankly I'm going back to see it again in Omnimax, which is an IMAX dome theater. There's only like 60 in the world, and one of them sits about a mile from my house.

Fully expecting to piss my pants.

That looks incredible. God there's so many movies I'd want to see in something like that.

Just out of the cinema from seeing this. Absolutely fantastic, one of the best films I've seen in a very long time. A masterpiece of a film, I went into the film with exceedingly low expectations (as I always do when a film gets rave reviews!) But I'm floored by that, 10/10. Only single tiny criticism i had was that sometimes the music would of been better left out at dramatic times and let the real sound tell the story. That doesn't detract from what will easily be film of the year imo.
