Years ago, or so it seems, I thought that Moyes and the Rooney money could spark a Shankly type revolution, especially after our good start 2004 ( I know I know, I'm just a sentimental romantic dreamer who sees the best in every one )

Well I'm still deaming ( as are a few more of us now ) and if you're going to dream, dream big I say.

Short version;

Martinez = Shankly

Ferguson = Paisley

= 25yrs glory

IT'S ON I TELLS YER, IT IS SO DEFFO ON

Chelsea game although he was appointed just prior he didn't actually join them on the bench until the game after mate unless I'm very mistaken, probably to give him time to tie up loose ends with his previous role and such

Yeah, that's entirely possible. I'm not sure and don't remember offhand. Would've only been a couple of days after he was appointed.

Just remember the commentator making reference to it at the start of the chelsea game and saying that he wasnt on the bench yet, deffo has had a positive impact though

There once was a big dunc from glasgow,
Who told all comers just where to go,
But from now on its different
Coz big duncan's got influence,
And he'll make sure we destroy the Arsenal.
