I don't know how many times I've said I'd love to see rat face try biting Big Dunc. He would have no more teeth, problem solved.

He was a very good footy player, just injuries and a bit of a temper sometimes got in the way.

Always baffles me when Everton fans have a pop at Duncan, he wasnt perfect, but he was ours and he gave a load of fans hope when they didnt have anything to cling on to, just baffles me.

He was a violent drink driving thug.

But one who happened to be a talismanic player for us when we desperately needed one so that stuff gets glossed over and ignored.

Well drink driving does, the thugness gets glorified.

I expect Dunc has been roaring at them all week in training and I fully expect Naismith, Miralles, Coleman and McCarthy to be massively up for this.

Duncan was a flawed individual as both a footballer and a personality.

His 'thuggish tendencies' would not be tolerated in today's game and his lack of professionalism may have stunted his progress to the top if he was plying his trade now.

Fan's would be far less forgiving of things like the drink driving etc if he hadn't have been playing for us during the 90's and early 2000's.




But he was.

And he's still boss.

And I will always love him.
