Always baffles me when Everton fans have a pop at Duncan, he wasnt perfect, but he was ours and he gave a load of fans hope when they didnt have anything to cling on to, just baffles me.

He was a good player but for me he underachieved overall be it through injury or otherwise, especially in his second spell here. I think thats the truth not having a pop.

He was a bright light during the gloomy days of the late 90's. Will always love him for lashing Paul 'the guvner' Ince on the deck in a derby around 98? Ince pooped himself

Dunc is/was a true blue right to the core, never doubt that or his ability. I am suoer glad he is still with us, BTW his tattoo says it all.

On the field he was fearless and all feared him, especially Ferdinand.

Steady on, mate. I too am a hopeless romantic who'd love to see Big Dunc manage us one day, but he'll have to prove himself by managing in the lower leagues before he could be afforded a shot here.

Might happen one day, but I'd wager he won't be the manager to succeed Martinez.

Maybe not the most politically correct example, but how many clubs did Paisley manage

Hero, absolute hero.

'Great feet for a big man' is very over used, but nothing could be closer to the truth with him, he'd bring a ball down better than Fellaini and rifle it into the bottom corner. Sadly not enough, so many injuries.
