Duncan Ferguson - The Coach

5 points from those fixtures is not something we should overlook but his subs lately were clueless, he will learn from Carlo and his team. Thanks Big Dunc!

Ferguson's substitution of delph for wooden legs is the worst sub ever.

It's a bad sub in terms of personnel but he wanted Holgate in midfield and to be honest we looked better once it happened. Delph has been atrocious so far, offers very little. On paper it seemed a sensible signing but his complete lack of quality after spending time with Pep and that City side defies belief.

It would be wise to wait and see how well Ancelotti does in his first four EPL games with the same team against generally easier opponents (excluding Man City) before blaming Duncan Ferguson for today's relatively poor performance.

There was a bit of an odd feeling about today's game where the players seemed nervous due to Ancelotti's involvement.

Nothing like they were playing under purely Ferguson just a few days ago.

As for the double subs. The Keane one was possibly to try and motivate him and the Tosun one was perhaps to send a message that he should leave in January.

Who knows if these were even Ferguson's calls and didn't come from higher up.

delph needs to go and we need someone with more bite in midfield. Holgate is the best option to move up, nobody else. Keane the obvious choice to step in for Holgate. Not much of a choice there.

blame dunc for starting delph instead

We wanted three points but what a fantastic performance from us.

That above from Ferguson i dont know if he was Joking but for his last game, having a new boss, playing v a team like Arsenal playing so many younger players,i am so disappointed with that performance v a team with no clean sheet in 14 games, dire, awful, bad performance

Not once has he said he's the man for the job
Not once has he said he's equipped for the pressures
Not once has he said he's tactically aware.

Every minutes he's been in charge he'll have learned something about himself.

Do you know why he punching the air? Because he's probably relieved he's got us out of these matches 0retty much unscathed, hasn't embarrassed the club or himself to the point where we are.a laughing stock and will be more than happy to hand over the reigns to a top manager.

Silva couldn't get a tune out of this lot even when they were all fit so god knows what anyone thought Ferguson was gonna do.

5 points out of 9 and if we csn beat Burnley that's been a decent return compared to the absolute shambles 9f the rs away.

holgate done nothing delph would not have done.We were at home looking for a goal and he wasted a sub.

Tactics were poor, aca

4 positions, they all need replacing apart from rich and digne

First 4....i agree we need more than 4, but 4 positions are key... Centerback, Holding midfielder, Number 10, and Striker... The spine of our team is just nowhere good enough..

Waste of a sub.
