Let's hope Roy can get his life back on track, i wouldnt want to see anyone's life go down the gutter. He was a talent no doubt. Who knows, when he's on the right track again maybe we will see him in an Everton shirt again?

He was just taking the p*ss, he was paid a lot of money to do a job, just do it to the best of your ability. Moaning little self centred knob.

I do to be honest, Im not bothered what a player does in his personal life( to an extent) or if he's late for training or doesn't like training. If they can do it on a sat afternoon thats ok by me.

play football at uni with a few mates, i rarely go out the night before as I hate playing hungover, my pal who is the captiain, always does, he always starts irrespective and usually plays well, i'm never too arsed either.

Yep comparing your uni team mate captain to a premier league player playing hungover works well for me.

Be interesting to see how many uni football team players play with hangovers, probably more than that were sober.

If he wasn't a complete nutter who showed no commitment to his job, he'd have been a real success here last season and a Champions League club would have come and got him in the summer, so we wouldn't have had him this season anyway.

There must have been more going on than we got to hear. When you think the likes of Gazza and Merson found clubs to take them on and he's had to go to Russia's second division for a game.
