Drenthe the enigma

Why doesn't Moyes like him? He surely must see Royston's potential? Plus if the players like him he can't be that much of trouble maker can he?

Everyone loved the trouble maker at school.

Maybe Moyes doesn't like him because he turns up at training hungover nearly every day before putting half a shift in and refuses to do what MoYlEz says.

i luv the guy, but moyes might see him as a loose cannon or something. he surely brings energy and creativity aspect into a game. but if whole package doesnt make moyesy happy, so be it. hopefully he is our man in future too, though.

I understand what you mean, but look at Drenthe's past.

Shunned by Real, got in trouble at Hercules and now here.

We don't know what he's like off what we are shown, but I'd he's acting a tit then why would we want a player like that in our team?

We gave him a chance in the summer. Sometimes chances don't come off.

Just thought I'd quote myself and agree with me.

Where's the Belg when we need him? Is he ok?
Might be able to shed some light on this.

One of my Hercules supporter friends asked me how Drenthe was behaving off the pitch. I told him there was nothing in the news but that was possibly due to the fact that the press are busy following Balotelli.

So the rumour is he was on class As before a game? That would even blow Balotelli's antics out the water. Genuinely don't believe he'd do that though. No one's that stupid. I expect him in the squad on Tuesday.
