Dr who?
Well this must have been a few months in the coming together, but all the talk in the past 6 months has been around USA based investors, so I would think this would only enhance their perception of us as an investment. If we are in the process of looking for new buyers though it seems a strange time be be making big changes at any level of the club.
Fantastic that we can recruit from outside of football. Demonstrates the pull of the Premier League and Everton in particular. Also demonstrates how athletic ability is a key component alongside the technical and tactical aspects of modern football.
Very interesting appointment for the future.
Hopefully that blurts days are numbered if a takeover happensNo comments from Elstone; interesting as you would deem him the one responsible for the appointment.
Peter Vint, wasn't he from Ghostbusters?
He's probably still on an Alpine mountain bike charity ride looking 24/7 for investors. No comments from Elstone; interesting as you would deem him the one responsible for the appointment.
Hopefully that blurts days are numbered if a takeover happens

Unless the great Dr can conceptualise (what does that even mean) his compatriot to come and catch a cross this appointment means absolutely nothing to me.
.....I'm ok with this, lots about the physical (and mental) development of youngsters. Leave the footy to the coaches. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually his remit becomes a lot broader (I'm very critical of the medical strategy and role of the Club Doctor at Everton).
Many years ago the Pool recruited a local headmaster called Tom Saunders to oversee the youth set up but he became a major confidant at first team level, the same might eventually happen here.
