This is just a note to say that I’m going to try to stop following transfers. Life is too short, and I don’t want to die of despair in preseason.

The latest from Gianni Balzarini was discouraging. He said that for Nico Gonzales and likewise for Douglas Luiz, if the right deal doesn’t come, you’ll stay with the club and be stuck on the margins. He could be expressing a negotiation stance from the club, i.e., the buying club or the player needs to concede something because we’re not budging.

I’m out! I hope to be surprised by signings soon.

He won't want to budge on 175k a week if we're offering 100k .

But not seen anything of him owning tools or throwing his toys out the pram.

I think Juventus underused/misused him for sure. On the other hand, looking down his nose at playing for a non-CL club, even one in the Premier League, seems like a red flag.
