Some thoughts from a place you won't be reading:
It has become common to describe the past year as a "revolt from the right" but it is also a real revolt from the left. The rebels are of 2 kinds: ideologues who feel their principles have been betrayed; and careerists who feel criminally let down.
What the 2 sorts of left wing rebels now have in common is a feeling of betrayal, epitomized by yet not limited to Hillary. There's the image of Donna Brazile opening the DNC coffers, which she thought stuffed with cash only to find it filled with IOUs. What happened to 8 years in power? 8 years of media, Hollywood and Silicon Valley monopoly? Debt and loss. The operatives want to know why.
Many ideologues for their part are truly ashamed -- of Hollywood etc -- of the jokes they laughed along with before they saw it was on them. Leftists, like everyone else, don't like being played for fools. In their case "fools" is putting it mildly. Add in possible indictments and well, the revolutionaries are revolting. Donna knows this and is heading for the hills.
Premature celebration of karma gone wrong for the Democrats? Time will tell. I'm personally stunned by the suddenness of this end of omerta from party functionaries and leaders of factions to the left of the Clinton machine. This isn't where they thought the investigations would lead. I wonder if they plan to slow-walk the Imran Awan matters or let it hang out now in more of a densepack approach to bad news. If so, DWS is toast but then, she's already toast. She's the one wearing the horse collar now. That much is clear.
Trump understood that he'd get at least 10% of Bernie's socialist/populist vote that would never go to Hillary. That's how it went down, especially in those key Midwestern states.

Seriously, anyone with a traditional sense of fairness & balance in their understanding of current affairs should be alarmed at the incessant anti-Trump agenda of mainstream media. The hacks are making a career of his tweets, but we the reader are the poorer for it.
No pretty sure its just your posts people have issues with. 5 years a member and no posts to an actual Everton topic or any other topic outside of the current affairs area and in there only two topics seemed to peak your interest in the last two weeks.
Now dholliday posts are well put and offer a perspective even if some of us disagree or differ from his opinion. dholliday also posts everywhere. You not so much. Most of your musings are fox news or some other right leaning news source and this is backed up by your admittance that you like and watch Tucker Carlson proves that. You have also defended that slime bag racist.
You have offered very little in facts or actual debate and when someone points out fact you accuse them of assuming or no seeing your point. In either this thread or the only other one you post in the shootings one you have offered anything of mere substance.

In an essay for Politico on Thursday, former interim Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile dropped a bombshell on the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign. In the piece, which was an excerpt from her upcoming book, Brazile exposed how “the DNC was rigging the system to throw the primary to Hillary” through a shady and ethically questionable financial arrangement. Even though it seemed like a plot in House of Cards, the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) had a complete blackout of any mention of the news during their evening broadcasts.
Just like fox news never reports on anything that doesn't fit their agenda. It works both ways you know.
