Regrettably yes. While the FBI clearly made mistakes, Trump's blatant act of political one-upmanship and open slandering of the Russian issue is...

... well, I can't actually say on here.
It’s absolutely unbelievable. That might actually be a new low. And god knows that’s saying something.

The lady doth protest too much?

What would probably help convince more people of his sincerity is if he a) didn't keep trying to demean/sack everyone involved in the investigation b) actually took the 2016 Russians actions seriously and rather than focusing on saying he didn't collude put some damn actions in place to make sure they don't try it again.

Mueller is just living inside his head every waking hour of every day. He should be paying rent, he’s taken up such permanent residence. Just sitting there, tapping away at the inside of Trump’s skull with a tiny little hammer.

Even Trump's own National Security Advisor, Herbet McMaster, has explained that the evidence of Russian meddling "really incontrovertible".

Yet Trump, even with an infringement by another sovereign nation, is more concerned with winning media points and spouting the usual rhetoric.

Imagine this type of story breaking - Russian interference within the US - fifty, forty or even thirty years ago; there'd have been total uproar.

However, the POTUS is more concerned with his own personal image.; it's nauseating! So the question is, does he really have nothing to hide?

Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton had said the reason the Pulse nightclub shooter wasn't stopped was because the FBI were spending too much time investigating her email server and they should close the case?

I was just thinking that exact same thing. People’s heads would have exploded and the Fox News presenters would have spontaneously combusted.

And rightly so to be fair. But it seems everyone is just shrugging their shoulders and saying “that Trump eh? What’s he like?”

Unfortunately yes and we all know that at some point in the future there will be an even worse tweet. I suppose at least one silver lining is that all the “he’ll pivot to being presidential” talk has stopped.

I am curious when the logical inconsistency in his ‘ok, I reluctantly admit that Russia may have meddled but Hillary was the one he colluded with’ stance and ‘I’m not doing anything re sanctions or stopping any future meddling by them’ becomes too glaring even for his supporters.

I mean if the Steele dossier was all disinformation, the Uranium one deal a real scandal and he believed the Russians were funding equal anti-Trump messages with pro-Trump ones it surely would be worth at least a snarky tweet and a Vlad nickname?

Yet in the over 48 hours since the indictment came out he has attacked in no particular order the media, Clinton, the FBI, the media, his own National security advisor, Obama and Adam Schiff....yet conspicuously not a single tweet about Putin.
