I wrote him off a while ago but he's been excellent recently. His touching healthcare coverage regarding his poorly newborn son, and the state of healthcare in the states in general, and the recent DACA bits especially.
The odd thing is that I'd generally be quite willing to believe that the FBI had overstepped its guidelines in its justifications to spy on a US citizen but
a) believing that Carter Page wasn't dumb enough to raise legitimate suspicions he was a Russian spy isn't a hill I'd personally want to die on
b) even if the Steele dossier was the sole reason for the warrant and was a partisan pack of lies to bring down Trump why did the surveillance get re-upped 3 times by a string of different people including some Trump appointees and yet never a whisper of it leaked?
c) if there is such a vast conspiracy and/or lax following of procedures why the hell did Nunes vote to re-authorise 702 surveillance which has far less safeguards than the process Page warrents were obtained?
I'm going to to take a wild guess that Trump doesn't tweet about his influence on the stock market this weekend.
