Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Obviously. She's awful, but Trump is on another level of awfulness.

Hilary and her ilk are the cause, Trump is the symptom. It is dreadful watching his antics but you would hope that even the Yanks would have realised that a system that puts him in charge is a system in desperate need of reform; if she had won then at least half of the country would have pretended things were fine.

This is when you lose all credibility........she was and remains useless.....why do Americans believe that the wife of a former president is the best person out of 300+ million to be their leader. She is what she has always been, a smarmy know it all who insists she knows best........

Come on Pete...simple question: who is more qualified to be president and who would the USA be better off with as president, Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump? Please pick one.

No one here has defended Hilary to a great degree (I sure haven't)...but she's eons better than this ass-clown we have now. Do you agree or not?

Yeah, you’ve already said that.

Terrific patter.

I was thinking the other night about life, experiences, knowledge gained, retained and applied, in the context of how we all look at things slightly differently depending upon background, beliefs, education etc. I then remembered a particular poem/ song by Joni Mitchell, which on the face of it can seem like a piece of nonsense to a 17 year old but somehow strikes a certain chord with those say over 60. The words are the same to both, what is heard or interpreted however can be vastly different. So when we disagree on here try to remember these words.....

Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's cloud's illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

Moons and Junes and ferries wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way

But now it's just another show
You leave 'em laughing when you go
And if you care, don't let them know
Don't give yourself away

I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud,
To say "I love you" right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I've looked at life that way

But now old friends they're acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day.

I've looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

I've looked at life from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

If it helps, try listening.....

Clinton, she is a politician.....a bad one but one nonetheless. However if you ask a different question, and depending on the question, you may get a different response......

gosh, you're almost the last person here I'd expect to appreciate Joni Mitchell

think at times you might have misheard though - it's "both sides now," and not "MY side now because I'm older than all of you" ; )

I never said she was the best person out of 300+ million. I said she was the best person in a group of two that also includes Donald Trump.

But the best for what ? Staying the same, protecting manufacturing workers jobs, what is the question ? Those that voted for trump will have asked themselves ‘ who is better for .......’ and their answer was Trump....those that wanted Clinton just asked a different question.....

I always try to look at both sides though......

Preemptive strike against the North Pole imminent.

This helps fill in the blank in the question Trump voters posed, @peteblue

"Who is better for (ineffectual) temper-tantrums against: the phrase "Happy Holidays;" uppity black athletes; spooky muslims; foreigners; young people who seem to be enjoying themselves much more than I ever did; women who want to be heard not just seen; people who say that I vote against my own interests; the baddies in 24; soccer; irony; people who disrespect sex-pest pseudoscientist torturer Charles "how was I to know crossburning was racist?" Murray; the reality of global warming; people who use the phrase "white people;" quinoa; the word 'millennial;' hip-hop; in my day telephones were for calling people!; sushi; being the only person who still shops at the mall; artisans; facial hair; treating LGBT people like human beings; references to things on the internet which I don't understand; avocado toast; and the fact that I'm secretly confused why my grandchildren keep rolling their eyes at me, but I'm too proud to ask"
