Aye, those reporters who have a history of links with that pit of vipers have suggested they are going to pursue a "Trump manly fighting the swamp but gradually sinking" approach.i think another possibility is that the base will flock to Bannon/Breitbart, but not necessarily turn on Trump.
instead, it will be like when feudal kingdoms had civil wars, where all sides claimed to be fighting to rescue the king from his sinister hangers-on, but also all privately recognised that he was a bit of a nutter and/or simpleton ("he's too pure for this cruel world"). like Henry VI perhaps.
i think even Trump's supporters have to realise at a certain level that, whatever else, he is a bit of a dull boy - but the cognitive dissonance of breaking with him altogether, having invested so much, would be too much to bear.
so they will back Bannon to "rescue" Trump from the RINOs and Dems and media and globalists and solarBlossoms and the deep state and black people and LGBT and college professors and Jews and SJdubs and snowflakes and immigrants and people who read books and millennials and Wall Street and unions who are all conspiring to shame America.
i wouldn't be surprised if Bannon recognises this, and portrays Trump as victim rather than traitor.

Two interesting aspects
1) Trump likes to been seen as having the world against him but not quite so keen on the message that he is failing
2) There is a none too subtle strand of anti-semitism on Breitbart and one of its chief targets is married to the heir to the throne...
Meanwhile the WhiteHouse looks like a fun place to work
As a non-American, that whole tradition of having a bunch of people stood around whilst he signs stuff is soooo weird. What on Earth is the point?
It's a power-signifier.
No, because Trump is still Trump. So it looks like John Kelly is pulling the strings now. Things should quieten down......

Yes it was, perhaps would have been less necessary if your father hadn't called those spouting it "fine people".
