Newt also peddling hard the idea on Fox Sunday shows that because Mueller and Comey are known to respect each other that Mueller can't be fair and balanced so investigation should be stopped.

Hopefully just trying to muddy the waters a bit but if Trump does pressure Rosenstein to fire Mueller, or fires Sessions and his new AG isn't recused so takes over investigation and then fires Mueller, hello constitutional crisis.

It should be relatively friendly questions, Sessions being a former Senator after all, but at least we hopefully get some answers on the extent on his recusal, reasons for Comey firing and clarification in any contact witn foreign ambassadors in his work with Trump campaign.
