Indeed, though that this scandal is being limited to one country and one campaign is a bit much.

After all, at least two countries fund US Congressional (and above) politics to such an extent that nearly any meaningful action (never mind criticism) against their misdeeds is almost unimaginable. A third actually made a seven figure donation to the foundation of Trump's rival whilst she was in charge of US foreign policy.
