Like seriously there is nothing good that can come of this. It's only going to fan the flames of hate and extremism.

And how the F does he have the nerve to mention 9/11 attacks when the four nations where the attackers were from aren't included?

So Trump publishing a weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants isn't fascist, despite it being an actual thing the Nazi's did?

Ok mate.

Pete is still in the denial phase.

He's a good bloke though so I fully expect him to join us in decrying the troubling surge in fascism and hatred following Trump's election.

Guys! You liberals just need to give him time. Things are going swimmingly. This has been the smoothest, most honeymoon-esque presidential transition in history. But ya'll are ruining it with your snickering and reportage.

Embarrassed by Theresa May's reaction to the Trump presidency. Embarrassed to be English.

Is right.

I was fairly nonplussed on her but allowing the detainment of innocent British nationals on foreign soil with not even a whimper is essentially treason. Utter rat.

Edit - stay only includes those in transit or on US soil, not those with visas in foreign country.

The federal court for the Eastern District of New York has officially issued an emergency stay, halting President Donald Trump's executive order banning immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S, The Verge reported Saturday. The court ruled on a habeas corpus petition filed by the ACLU on behalf of two Iraqi men who were detained at JFK airport Saturday following Trump's ban. Both men, Hameed Khalid Darweesh and Sameer Abdulkhaleq Alshaw have been granted entry to the United States since.

Trump on Friday signed an executive order that he said would provide a thorough vetting of refugees to ensure that "radical Islamic terrorists" cannot get into the United States. Trump's order indefinitely blocks refugees from war-torn Syria from entering the U.S. and suspends all refugee admissions for 120 days while the administration determines which countries pose the least risk. Admission will resume only after vetting has been deemed "adequate" by the secretary of State, the secretary of Homeland Security and Director of National Intelligence.

The court ruling halts this executive order.
