Of course they aren't all Hamas/Hezbollah the problem is that the Palestinian authority don't separate terrorist casualties from civilian ones when they release their figures.

So that doesn't make things easy in relation to trying to gauge the extent of innocent people being killed.

I don't want innocent people being killed on either side, but i think it's a bit of effrontery on some people's part to say that Israel has to sit back and do nothing while it's citizens are being held captive.

I just want everyone to live in peace and the people in Gaza to be free from the terror being caused by Hamas. I believe that Trump will not leave the people of Israel and Gaza down there.

The issue with ‘Freedom of Speech’ and social media is that you invite the very worst of society to turn each platform into more of a cesspit.

Freedom of Speech in the US constitutional sense is meant to protect the citizens and the press from government or religious oppression (There is a huge asterisk on this, mind especially when it comes to Trump wanting to shut down certain news agencies or ban Muslims)

But the idea of pushing this towards private business is likely not going to work.

If you turned up to your local debate club and started insulting everyone and using racial and homophobic slurs towards people you disagree with, they are going to kick you out no matter how loud you shout about your 1A rights.

Social platforms need to be able to do the same or else you get the cesspit that X is rapidly falling into.

If he’d pushed for greater scrutiny on those that spread disinformation online, I could get behind that, but that would mean Elon having to clean his platform up. Not to mention the dilemma that is f you are going to call yourself a “free speech absolutist” like Elon does, then surely disinformation would be protected as freedom of speech right, right?
