But most religious people don't believe every single word of what their religion says. Most Jewish people can interpret those verses in the context they are said. And most Jewish people will abhor what the Israeli government are doing.

The anti-Semitic lie, that all Jewish people support that behaviour is exactly that for me.

Absolutely. Not all support that stance. Some of the ruling coalition do use it as justification though and the point was relative to Judaism itself. Those texts are deemed sacred and tied to the convenant with their God about their rights to the land.

Semites include more than Jews, but they have co-opted the anti-Semitic phrase to apply to them only when criticised.
Most Jews don't support or follow those texts from Deuteronomy but most aren't stopping their use as justification for the land grabs and slaughter either. It would be nice if they stood up to the fascists
