Irrelevant. The ban was on foreign Muslims travelling to the US. American Muslims are Americans first not foreigners. This is all a bit like the claim Trump would not appeal to Hispanics because of his clampdown on illegals entering from the Southern border. Trumps doing just fine with Hispanic voters. They love him.

I find it strange when leftists claim that American citizens care first & foremost about foreigners. They don't. This goes for Hispanic Americans as well as Muslim Americans.
