What's he hiding?

I think basically there is nothing to gain for him in doing interviews that aren’t in front of his base. His base is locked in, they are voting for him regardless. But the floating voters are far more likely to be pushed away by his responses to interviewers that aren’t just there to help push his message. And he keeps on showing that he doesn’t react well when faced with that. The debate with Harris showed that, his appearance with the Chicago Economic Forum showed that.

I’m guessing their game plan is to hope Kamala screws up when speaking to outlets that don’t support Dems traditionally. Basically it’s a defensive strategy rather than an offensive one.
