To be honest I can't understand why all these millions of people around the world protesting about misogeny are aiming their protests against one man in the USA when in actuallity there are plenty of COUNTRIES around the world where misogeny is a way of life! Why aren't they directing their protests at the likes of Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan , and the cultures which have forced marriage and FGM as normality? Confused.com :Blink:

Plenty of them probably do.

Trump's administration is threatening to roll back women's rights re: abortion etc in the US by a generation or two. I can see why they're out on the streets. The others round the world are just showing solidarity I suppose. Also, they probably feel it's something they can do something about, which is probably not the case in respect to Saudi.

She was a politician with ties to Wall Street. He's a business man with ties to Walll Street.
Total different
If Hillary Clinton had become President and stocked her cabinet with 4 or 5 ex Goldman Sachs bankers, she'd be getting absolutely excoriated by the Republicans and the media right now.

Unfortunately Trump is diverting attention from his ****holes Row of a cabinet (not just the GS guys, but any number of other horrible choices) by distracting the press with astonishingly petty and blatant lies about inauguration attendance figures etc.

Goldman Sacks is always the red cloth when.talking about his cabinet picks. Reality is that the most brilliant and qualified persons often are somehow connected to GSs.

Really? I can't recall any protest anywhere for womens' rights in the likes of Saudi Arabia, and they're never going to be able to do anything about it if they never try. The reality is that most of these present protests are a result of virtue signalling by people who have been wound up into a frenzy of by media exaggeration and fabrication (you know, the stuff that sells newspapers/lifts your stations' ratings), and the rantings of millionaire film "stars" with more money than sense.
