I think you make a good point going forward and I can certainly do that, but at the same time my general position (certainly shared with all sane and good people here on GOT) is that I find it horrible and unacceptable that racist posts can creep in millimeter by millimeter because they are seemingly watered down with other words. It is this incremental normalization of unacceptable racist speech across almost all social media/public spaces that, as of late, really gets under my skin and I can’t resist calling out.

No, I have no real opinion on wether the security services chose the shooter. If I were to guess I'd say no, they did not choose Crooks. Crooks was an independent actor in all this. My belief is that secret service security was merely intentionally lax. If security can be intentionally refused for RFK jr it can be intentionally lax for Trump. IF there was a conspiracy to kill JFK then it was similar lax security rather than some grand conspiracy.
