Actually think it would have made things MUCH worse. The country will be better off with him dead, but it needs to be his age/diet/fitness catching up with him. Even then I’m not sure his supporters would believe natural causes took him out. Openly assassinating him like this would have probably set off all sorts of politically motivated violence. Someone even attempting it may end up doing so.

Yeah, but there is nobody there with any “credibility” to organise it. Trump has seen off anyone who could possibly take over.

Plus it would put Putin back in cage as Trump’s threat to cripple NATO would disappear over night.
