Yep, the fact that Republicans have convinced many (mostly rural) Americans to vote against their interests on the basis of "coastal elites" and other pseudo-controversies is both sad and masterclass. A really good book I'm reading about this is White Rural Rage, where chapter 2, especially, outlines all the ways this happens (e.g., small-scale farm owners continually vote for Republicans who are in the pockets of large farming conglomerates, or being against "Obamacare" though in repeated polls where the tenets of the ACA are laid out but not labled as "Obamacare" then rural voters agree with it, voting for politicians who have accepted donations from big pharma despite being addicted to opoids, etc.). The book is great and received positive reviews as well as the expected reviews of "how dare you!!..." in that people still have an outsized notion of rural white America as being the "true" America that is beyond criticism--and this is one of the major points of the book, and then it goes into a granular dissection of the causes of rural decline.
For all the talk of Biden’s mental decline, if this isn’t strong evidence of Trump’s mental decline, then the position must be that he’s always been this stupid.

To 'make' bitcoin in a singular country would reduce its operation principles that it's designed for. It would also be a gigantic energy/freshwater drain.
