The funny thing about this indictment is that if you suggested putting it in a film script for say a Bond or Mission Impossible film, you’d be laughed out the writers’ room. “We’re ok with the invisible cars but no way is anyone believing an ex-President would just leave classified documents in the bathroom.”

You might get away with it in Naked Gun or Austin Powers I guess.

Truth is stranger than fiction. I suspect this is because many people lead fairly boring lives, and won't buy the actual stuff the other half experiences.

Ah, Clay Travis. The same guy who first achieved notoriety when he used his one and only question at SEC Media Days to ask Tim Tebow if he was a virgin, and several years ago took to the internet to drag Delta for not letting one of his kids onto a flight after it was discovered he had lice.

His “takes” haven’t gotten better it appears. I listened to the interview, and his argument was basically that the President is (or at least should be) above the law. I have no love for Pence, but good on him for not going along with this.

Pence is not the only 2024 GOP candidate whose life Trump seriously put in danger. Although it was by different means, ie Covid, he endangered Chris Christie too and I doubt the time in intensive care that Christie spent there was pleasant.

I imagine that complete disregard for your, and in Pence’s case also his daughter who was with him, safety does create a certain determination, we’ll see if either/both hold onto it.
