Sure but wouldn't the questions be all related.

I mean they are not about to lump it in with questions about what washing liquid they buy etc...

I've been busy at work the last few hours so can't delve back through the last five pages, and I know you're talking about Brexit. We've been making comparisons between Trumpism and Brexitism

But as with Brexit to some degree, but more so in the Trump sense, I understand that not all republicans are racists or vile human beings.

However, given what we've witnessed the last 4+ years, if you're still a Trump supporter, it says a lot about you that you (at best) look the other way regarding his obvious racism, utter lack of respect for the institutions of the presidency and USA democracy as a whole, childlike demeanor, bold faced lying in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, etc, etc, etc. So while yes we are making generalizations, for really the first time in my life that I can remember, this isn't about "politics" - Trump should be someone that whether you are staunchly anti-abortion, hate paying more taxes or whatever GOP talking point makes it impossible for you to vote Democrat, you should still condemn Trump. But this isn't the case for so many Republicans.

I assume there is a similar element from a Brexit point of view. Yes there may be nuanced policies that make people believe (and who knows maybe those people will ultimately be right) that Brexit means a better UK, but the overwhelming amount of people that voted for Brexit was due to xenophobia and those sorts of reasons, not policy-wonk economic technicalities

Personally I have no issue with her former profession - her body so her choice what she did with it.

It is her statements and actions such as supporting birtherism I find worthy of criticism.

I am not offended by her former profession either but I do rather to have an educator as first lady than a former stripper that pretended to be better than her predecessor. A woman that after being a stripper thought she was better than our black first lady so much that she thought it was necessary to change the white House bathroom toilet because she didn’t want to have to use the same shower and toilet as former first lady Michelle Obama.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one Sass, critiquing Melania for her former profession seems a bit too close to the way that the GOP demean AOC as being "just a barmaid" for my taste.

I am actually quite looking forward to the time when a practitioner of the world's oldest profession unapologetically switches to the world's second oldest profession and gets elected to Congress - the conniptions from both sides of the aisle who have made their way far less honestly will be something to behold lol

Sorry, but no.

There are a lot of parallels between the mindset of Brexit and MAGA

Both are ideals that have divided our respective nations political left & right to the extreme. Both are ideals that have been pedaled to the public on the basis of lies, both have been championed by far right and racist provocateur's (Farage, Yaxley-Lennon, Hopkins, Paul Joseph Watson, Alex Jones, Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder etc.), both have aided the rise of nationalism and have been co-opted by far right groups, and both seem to generate supporters who have little idea of the repercussions of what they are voting for and will resort to repeating vague slogans when pressed on finer details (Take our country back, keep America great, taking back our freedom, taking power back from Brussels etc.)

I'm a Brit, but I take great interest in what happens in the US politically as I genuinely believe that what happens there has a massive influence on the rest of the world.

What is happening there now is a massive warning shot across the bow for us. We're not quite at the stage the US was on the 6th, but it shows what can happen if you allow the far right conspiracy theories and groups who pedal them to go unchecked.
The fact that there's a right wing 'Fox News' style news network (GB News) about to launch here should be another alarm bell.
