Ha ha. No mate. Facts. Feel free to rebut with facts.

It's also a fact that Trump is ignoring the over 74 million people who did not vote for him.

If he continues to only pander to his base, he's not going to gain any votes, and it will only rally the left.

The ONLY reason he won the election was the left didn't hit the polls this cycle...especially in key urban areas like Detroit. Whether you like it or not there are more people in this country that have left leaning views.

This country is center right. Always has been.

When did you ever think this country was left leaning? Ever?

Hillary lost because she only appealed to coastal elites. Trump appealed to a much broader swath of the electorate, hence, his election.

Please get your fact straight as well.

Hillary won the popular vote 65M to 62M. I don't know where you're getting 74M from.

So if you're somehow trying to imply that Trump doesn't have a mandate (Dems always say Reps never have a mandate), you can stick that one where the sun don't shine.

Democrats need to start winning House and Senate seats again just to try and obstruct his agenda. They don't have the seats now. Furthermore, they're at real risk in 2018 for a further loss of seats.

But yeah, the whole country is Democratic.

I am not elite. Stop with the 'coastal elites' nonsense Fox News has drilled into you.

If the democrats hit the polls as they did in 2008 the right doesn't stand a chance. Key urban areas like Detroit didn't show up.

Over 137 million people voted in this election Bill. Less than 63 million voted for your boy. Do the math.

Didn't say YOU were elite.

I said Hillary lost because her lack of appeal to a broad base of the electorate cost her the election. It wasn't Detroit mate.

And please please tell me you're not pinning your hopes and a mass D turnout in 2018 to somehow stem the tide of the Dems getting rolled at BOTH the federal and state levels. You're going to be sorely disappointed.

I've got a better idea.

Turn out a candidate that can appeal to the broad electorate and one that has a platform that ordinary Americans can latch on to.

Hint: Identity Politics, Inequality, Socialism, calling people not like you "racists, bigots, or homophobes" etc... isn't going to be a winning platform. If you think that someone like Sanders, Booker, or Warren is going to swoop in and Obama's "legacy" is going to be back in style, you're gonna be disappointed.

Didn't have to. Someone did it for me.

Wherever you're getting your numbers from are wrong.

Here's CNN. They hate Trump:

65+62=127M

You're over by about 10M.

This was from two years ago and pretty easy to find Tubey. Even has a Bloomberg poll in it (Bloomberg hates Trump and loved Obama):

Your Fox Business link was laughably bad, and I can't believe you can't spot the glaring contradiction from that Sheriff.

But nevermind - this link I actually almost completely agree with. Totally. Except for one underlying thing - and that is I don't believe Obama himself is responsible for any of that. I agree race relations are much worse, and I agree that minorities are being shafted and have been shafted throughout his presidency, but I see that as a continuation of factors that began long before Obama rather than because of things done by Obama himself.

Economic opportunity being denied to minorities isn't an Obama-exclusive phenomenon, and it's not even a USA-exclusive one. There has been neglect to that demographic from Democrat and Republican alike for generations, and Clinton - if she had won - would not have changed that, because the Democrats had taken minorities for granted politically and had no plan to improve their place.

But neither does Trump. And if Romney or whoever had won last time, he wouldn't have made a difference either, because as Obama said - racism is "deeply rooted"; it goes beyond transitional politics between the donkey and elephant every few years. It's completely ingrained in your culture.

So when I say Obama isn't responsible for race relations declining, that's why I say it. When I say he didn't put a gun in Roof's hands, that doesn't mean I'm saying "Dylan Roof is causing racial disharmony" - no, I'm saying that action is a direct result of decades upon decades of inaction and complacency. No one President could have reversed it. Obama didn't and couldn't do it, and Trump won't do it.

So instead of blindly dismissing me as a Libtard or whatever label it is, think of it this way - just because I'm saying Obama isn't to blame for something doesn't mean I think the sun shines out of his arse. It just means I don't think he was blame for something when you actually look at the subject objectively.

Then it would help your cause greatly with posts such above rather than making blanket statements such as "rise in hate crime."

How was that link laughably bad. What you must have meant to say is that "I don't agree with Sheriff Clarke." Right?

It was because he criticised Obama for saying racism was deeply rooted - and indeed said how could it be if he was black and a sheriff and Obama was black and a President - immediately after saying race relations had never been worse and Obama himself was responsible for it.

It was a special kind of wrong from a man who clearly can't see the woods for the trees on a given subject due to heavy political bias.

Whereas your second link was even handed and well reasoned.
