Although Bidens history and a lot of other history will suggest the it’ll be steady as she goes and the people will have to take responsibility on their own representatives albiet likely not with Biden cheerleading a stratagem for the people. I’d like to hope Bernie would do some work in that department if he got a good position but that’s another long shot.

Would any of you think there’s a cabinet position or a position of voice for Bernie in this term?

Unfortunately, Bernie is not going to get a position on his cabinet even though Bernie wanted to be nominated to the secretary of labor position. The reason why not him, nor Warren would get a position it's because governors for their states are Republicans and if they were to give up their seats it will be up to them to appoint their replacements. Such a move would jeopardize Democrats numbers in the Senate and unfortunately Biden doesn't have the luxury to do this if he is going to implemented any of his policies

I wouldn’t think Biden would consider it a luxury. Probably a torn in his side. Biden’s donors wouldn’t allow him to anyway. It would get in the way of the right wing policies that corporations love.

Okay maybe luxury wasn't the right term.

But I just want to remind you that some of us, the small people, were also Biden's donors, no all were big corporations or rich executives. As a matter of fact, $368 million of the donations he received came from small donors making up about 38 percent of the donations he received. Thus some of his donors do expect him to pass some policies benefiting the working class.

Yeah he doesn’t know any of them. Unless the people take to the street he probably going to listen to the big powerful people who know him by nick name and who will pay him hundreds of millions after his presidency for speeches and the like as agreed. All them small donor People are divided. The way he likes it.
 
You would like to think any candidate to run a country his basic CV should read super genius in economics with a supreme desire to o have every working class man live extremely comfortably before there can be any such thing as billionaire.

Ike a lad with genius insane iq that as no tolerance or inequality. Like just that has to be the bare basic before you can get in the race.

But alas the system can’t allow for that. You got to have different kind of attributes ones that are not as flattering as the previous mentioned to get that far in this capitalist western world and all other totalitarian top down and not ground up systems to which they all are world wide.

I really doubt Biden will be getting paid for his speeches after his presidency.

Obama was not about dividing in his rethoric. He bailed out Wall Street made you pay for it. And guess who pays him hundreds of millions for ‘speeches’ after his presidency??

I agree. I never claimed any different. I'm sure Biden, like many government officials will enrich himself even more once he leaves office through book deals and appearances. And that looking out for the interest of lobbyists keep Presidents and Congress from passing meaningful legislation due to the pressure of corrupted money pour into our election system. My objection with your statement was your claim Biden likes to see people, his donors divided. But once again I'm less cynical than you are about people and their motives.

If the Democratic base of small doners where more militant and held his feet to the fire he would be in a world of trouble been split between his powerful donors and the mob that are unified and want to make him accountable. It’s only natural to assume he likes it kept that way. And since he seems a more dodgier lad than Obama and Obama turned out to be super dodgey and corrupt and unchallenged by a country divided that helped facilitate it. Then I am left with no option to assume the same for Biden giving he’s in the same situation.... and was his VP at the time that condoned it and hasn’t a bad word to say about Obama. Looks up to him really.

All signs point one way. It’s handier his donors are small and divided and not single powerful entity.
