Is Trump unorthodox and uncouth at times - yes he is and I wish at times he would tone it down but also know that is his style and he gets stuff done. Does he tweet too much, yes he does but that is his only communication tool to get his message out since the mainstream media will manipulate anything he says into negative press and worse. He himself could cure COVID today and the press would spin it into something negative. I look at the positive & his accomplishments and don’t fixate on the never ending negative “news” coverage coming out of the mainstream media on a daily basis.

maybe it’s because im an immigrant with a small kid but this carry on is sub human and quite frankly, if you still support the man or his policies knowing this, you need to question your ethical compass.
Im sorry mate, you seem sound but I’ll never understand how someone could vote for him knowing this.
He separated toddlers from their parents for committing a misdemeanor.
Technically a lot of them committed no crime at all. He separated familes from their children who came to the border to claim asylum of one sort of another and STILL separated them. Asking for asylum is not a crime at all.

There’s some truth to this, in the sense that the 24 hour news networks have to fill their airwaves with something. On the other hand complaining about the coverage of Trump being too negative is a bit like looking out your window, seeing it’s pissing down rain outside and then being upset when the meteorologist on the evening news says it’s raining.
I realize that some Americans never have and never will set foot outside the country, and as such could give a **** about what people in other countries think about us. But you clearly have traveled abroad in the past, and say you’d like to do so in the future. Does it not bother you that not only has our status as a global leader and visionary been greatly diminished by completely backing out of the Paris Climate Accord (among other things), but that we are such an international laughingstock due to our handling of COVID that as of today we are literally banned from entering the EU?
What are the positives/accomplishments to come out of the past four years in your opinion?

My ethical compass? I didn’t read that report and like many topics the media reports I question. Conservatives are compassionate but we have laws in place for a reason. What about the same or similar tactics being used or implemented under the Obama administration? There is a difference between legal and illegal immigration. You can distort the topic right along with what the media tells you if you want. Lastly, immigration is not the only political issue...it might be to you and if you are going through legal channels, what exactly are you worried about?
