Really suspicious this - COVID usually takes days / weeks to seriously fork people up so three days is really unusual.

Which suggests either this is complete BS (unlikely given that someone would blab), or that he's had it for rather longer than described, or that he's had some other health scare and coronavirus is being blamed because its something they could use to gain time with (ie: rather than a stroke or coronary which would mean game over now for him).

He's on for a hiding at the ballot. Something major had to happen to change the game. It has.

That's grounds for at least some suspicion for me.

True, but according to that WaPo article somebody linked in the other thread, it would be all but impossible to actually get them on the ballot at this point. The deadlines for that came and went weeks/months ago, the ballots have already been printed and voting has begun. At this point we should really be focusing on what happens if he’s re-elected and can’t serve.
Remember when we Americans go vote we check the box next to a name but we are really voting for a party slate of electors in our state. Those electors would likely, in the event of the POTUS passing, vote for the RNC-chosen candidate replacement for Trump.

It was the SCOTUS event or maybe there was another right before it as well is what people are saying.

In all seriousness I don't wish this even on someone as terrible as POTUS, and hope he has a fully and... well, not speedy... recovery.

And just as seriously, I will be very disappointed if he is not around to serve his prison sentence.

All of this. I don't go through my life hating people or wishing them ill... but I do believe in narrative determinism

Its a 30min motorcade ride to Walter Reed. They would have been there by now. Theres something weird going on here.

It's possible he saw the image of streets blocked in rush hour on a Friday all over the news as worse than the chopper ride, but then twitter investigators are diagnosing the positioning of the helicopter and suggesting it could be intentional to block sight lines so you can't tell if he isn't walking.

In short, if there's news, the news will come out, so no need to rush the news.
