It's interesting that quite a few GOT'ers seem to think that this may be a ruse.

When I suggested the same may have been true of Johnson a little while ago, when he said "it was touch and go" after being released from hospital 3-4 days after being admitted I was portrayed as some mad conspiracy theorist.

Trump and Johnson tread a similar path and neither have any problem telling huge porkies even on national TV. If your friends lied to you as much as our leaders do, they would no longer be friends.
