It was technically a war between the United states and the Confederates (I think). They saw themselves as independent from the USA.

as far as they were concerned they were part of the CSA or the confederacy who were an unrecognized country who fought the USA during the war.
They formed their own gov't in feb 1861 before war broke out in April 1861.
So yea, the US army beat both the confederate army and the Nazis.

I was reading that yesterday and meant to comment. It's horrifying if true, which it looks like now another source has gone on record. They call the doctor the uterus collector. Disgusting treatment.

How is it possible that this isn’t a bigger story?

Assuming this proves to be true, surely any last boundary to calling them straight up Nazis has been removed?

The Confederacy ceceded unilaterally from the USA because they did not wish to follow their laws about being able to win other humans and force them to work for free. Their lawful government disagreed and an armed conflagration ensued.

I tried watching some of his Q&A that was on last night, and predictably it was almost entirely unwatchable drivel. In that kind of format it is so painfully obvious that he has only the most barebones (at best) knowledge of any of the issues at hand. He’s literally a one-trick pony, whose only trick is pivoting back to some version of “the stock market was really roaring before China sent us the plague”.
