If a Cat 5 hurricane was bearing down on Miami and the POTUS knew but downplayed it so as not to cause a panic, the goddamn hurricane is still going to hit Miami and the POTUS has put hundreds of thousands of lives needlessly at risk. In this case, the man potentially put 330,000,000 lives needlessly at risk.
If this does not make Senate Republican leadership turn on him, publicly, then I despair for the American experiment.

Meanwhile, the Senate Judiciary Committee today is holding hearings on a new nominee for a lifetime position on the Federal Bench. She's 33 years old. Been a lawyer for 8 years, 4 as a clerk. Her resume literally still lists intern work while in law school. She is rated "Not Qualified" by the American Bar Association.
To my knowledge, no person rated "Not Qualified" had ever been considered for the Federal Bench in the US. Since Cheeto became POTUS, this young woman would be the 10th such nominee.
Also Woodward doesn't come out smelling like roses for sitting on these tapes. The tapes coming out sooner might have saved lives.

I'm too new at my job to do that. Honestly aside from donating (a pittance compared to the corporate dollars) and voting I'm kind of limited. I live in a beyond safe blue state and we've been gerrymandered so hard that there isn't much to be done in Congress either.
Oh, no. Please don't go to drastic measures. I'm in a rare position as I'm an owner. I'd just have to get a partner to agree if I choose to disappear for 8 weeks.
