At one point he challenges Wallace on renaming Fort Bragg, “What are you gonna name it?” Then, he actually says, as he’s waxing poetic about it’s history, “We won two World Wars, two World Wars, BEAUTIFUL World Wars, that were vicious and horrible, and we won them out of Fort Bragg, and we won them out of all of these forts and now they want to throw these names away.”
Sure, the United States might have the wherewithal to bring the Nazi and Japanese war machines to their knees, but thinking up a new name for a fort? That’s just too much to ask.
