Incapable of admitting fault, even for the smallest of things.

It's quite the dilemma for him.

He can't say he wanted to go to the bunker, because it makes him look like a coward, and can't bring himself to tell the truth, which is most likely that the Secret Service gave him no choice BUT to go to the bunker, because he can't ever admit to being supremely in charge of everyone at all times.

Oooh, if you were Secret Service, would you be able to resist saying "you'll be perfectly safe sir, nothing to worry about... unless they have any of those bunker busters... but I'm sure they haven't.... erm..... nah you'll be fine...... goodnight sir.... hehehehe...."

One strange thing I’ve noticed of late is the Daily Mail being massively critical of Trump over the past month, negative headlines and word play galore. Even the majority of comments are anti Trump despite the website being quite popular amongst American right wingers.

It has taken several days to come up with that? That is even lamer than Dominic Cummings fairytales. These people run our countries and concoct stories with the same level of credibility as 'The dog ate my homework, Sir'.

I watched the Ken Burns "The Vietnam War" documentary a while ago and when they covered the Kent State shootings involving the Ohio National Guard they said that opinion polls in the aftermath of the shootings showed a significant majority of Americans thought the students were primarily to blame. I was really surprised by this, and it could well be that a similar response is being seen in the general population now. From what was shown of the overall situation in America at the time there were alarming equivalents to what has been happening there over the past few years and that was before the current situation blew up. Whilst the Kent State situation didn't have the same racist elements as what is going on now, it did emphasise to me how little has changed in the intervening years regarding the attitudes of law enforcement and the presidential response to such instances.
