Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

We need to partition it like India and Pakistan. GOP voters can have the entire Southeast and a good bit of the midwest. The Northeast and West Coast can either be one country or two separate ones that don't have all the bible thumpers included. At least that way we can see the whole right wing experience play out against a country where the center to center right ideas of the Biden voters compete against Bernie's more left style. I know where I'd want to live.
The "problem" with that are states like Virginia and NC. Hell, even Flordia. The tip should be part of United States of Canadia but it's too far away. But the panhandle is some of the biggest Jesusland supporters I've ever heard of. And, after about 5 years of Jesusland they would go bankrupt because they don't make any money.

The biggest divide isn't state to state, it's urban and rural. Urban centers are VERY liberal where rural are VERY insular and conservative. Look at the 2016 maps of who won where, it looks like Trump absolutely decimated it except he lost by 3million votes.

I know. I can't really figure out a good way to do anything with Chicago, Detroit would have to join Canada, Oregon outside Portland and NoCal above San Francisco are a special kind of nutty too.

It's not a realistic idea and the problems that India and Pakistan had would happen here. Which is to say we probably shouldn't do it, but I also can't see how we reconcile the 25-40% of the country that is completely brainwashed by decades of the right wing bull crap that started with Reagan with the coming progressive candidates that the Democrats are going to be producing.

I thought the saying was the further north you go the further south you get
In the East they say in Florida the south is the North and the north is the South.

They say in Florida the further north you go the further south you get in the West.

(I'm guessing, poorly.)

Imagine living in Houston.

If this imaginary split up was done by county, the Democratic USA would be such an island nation right now. Far more populous than the Right Wing version.
That's what I was saying. It's not a state by state divide, even the most backwards states in the nation, their most populous cities are liberal. It's rural/city divides and nothing really can change.

The biggest problem is that 'We the People' are being ruled by the minority.

If the baseline (which it should be if the people are represented properly) Wyoming is the starting point. 2 senators and 1 Congressman. 3 people representing ~190,000 people each. If California was given the same power it would be 205 people...they have 55 votes right now.

The Senate is always going to have a bigger vote as they are all treated equally. Unless of course you are one of the 700,000+ living in Washington DC where you have zero representation.

So bizarre t see someone behaving like a decent human being on the white house pulpit. You can see the loathing in pence's horrible shark eyes as Dr Fauci begins to speak and shows empathy, a trait pence doesn't fully understand
