No idea if this is true, but interesting. I will have to try to research it
Article II, section 2 of the Constitution gives a president the power to pardon anyone who has been convicted of offenses against the United States, with one exception: "In Cases of Impeachment."

If Trump is impeached by the House, he can never be pardoned for these crimes. He cannot pardon himself (it's dubious that a president has this self-pardoning power in any event), and he cannot be pardoned by a future president.

Even if a subsequent president wanted to pardon Trump in the interest of, say, domestic tranquility, she could not.

I've been afraid to check....how horribly embarrassing/infuriating has he been at the NATO meeting?

More of the same. Accusing the French President of being disrespectful towards NATO, while at the same time being disrespectful towards France by stating they have a very high unemployment rate and economically they are not doing very well at all.

A quick fact check - France's unemployment rate is actually at it's lowest level for ten years, and France's economy grew 0.3% in the first 2019/2020 quarter to September, in spite of a growing economic slowdown.

How this fraud of a "President" is allowed to lie his away around the planet and get away with it is staggering to me.
