GOP govs from VT and MA support impeachment inquiry.
Very small cracks but cracks none the less.

All of you are obsessed. Literally obsessed.

For 3 years.

Social media has ruined lives here. The same script everyday desperately hoping something will show up about something. I see the same people posting the same narrative; links from social media etc..... but those on the other side are brainwashed aye.

Go and enjoy life people, you’re not worse off today than you were yesterday, a year ago or 3 years ago.

Sick of fellow conservatives taking the high and mighty and thinking the left is always the issue and getting one of on liberals is the order of the day.

If people want to talk negative about Trump in a thread about Trump then what's your issue? If you don't like it stay out.

Attacking other people just to call them names is what's wrong with the times we live in.

I voted for Trump in fact i have voted conservative all of my adult life. Recently though its just mental what the GOP has become and the step fellow conservatives take to deny we have issues in this country especially with the man in charge.

It's mad my own friends and some of my family now say i am liberal simply because i don't like Trump. Why is it we have to label people. What i see is a man out of his depth. A man who looks to have some sort of mental issue and who acts like a child.

I didn't like Obama but i did like some of the policies he put in place that protected parks and big industries from ruining them. In fact any of the environment ones he overturned are a disgrace. I have friends who love hiking and going camping and who are also conservative and when i point out he has possibly opened up the land they love for drilling they tell me i am wrong even if i point it out to them. They live in denial hey but as long as Trump got one over on Obama. Stupid.

Now he is changing the emissions standard in California which was previously allowed by the federal government. They simply ignored the standard set by this state. A standard that was adopted nearly everywhere else. Then he tries to explain it and he doesn't even know what he is talking about. How can you remove something if you do not understand it nor understand its impact. That's insane.

Fellow conservatives with their fingers in their ears or who simply say nothing need their heads examined. The party the love is being ruined by this guy and they are allowing the bigoted and stupidest mouthpieces from the far right take control via trump.

McConnell should be ashamed of himself. The worst troll of them all.

You don't have to be a liberal to see what's going on. If you disagree there is an issue you are in denial and you motives are clear.

That’s a really interesting perspective, and nice to see there are still some sane people on the right over the pond.

My one query (and I’m genuinely not having a go, I’m honestly curious) is that you day you voted Trump and have voted GOP through your life.

From the point of view of an outsider (albeit one who - I like to think - shows a pretty keen interest in US politics, and has done since well before Trump), it seems to me that the GOP has been off the rails for much longer than the last few years. It’s definitely gone even worse since 2016, but even before (especially since 2010) the crackpot level has been going through the roof.

That, allied to the fact that Trump was so demonstrably unfit for office (even putting aside his history, temperament and views he just knows NOTHING about anything) just makes me wonder what was going on with those people who voted for him, but clearly have enough sense to have realised at this point that he’s dangerously unfit/unhinged/unwell (choose your adjective)...

I’d be massively interested to hear the thought process. I get that people can’t stand Hillary, but surely it had to be more than that?

Honestly at the time i was probably like the rest of them. Even though i deep down knew it would probably be a mistake it was something i should do to make sure we get control you know. I can only speak for myself

It wasn't just that whole thing about Hilary being worse so on so forth. I would never have voted for her. I do not like the Clinton's but at the same time if the Democrats put her forward it made i feel the decision easier for some. For me i dunno if it was easier.

Mainly though when voting for him i hoped that the party would reign him in and help him put the better conservative people on his administration. Instead they stayed quiet and did nothing. That was a turning point.

Then some of the stories coming out about their indiscretions and accusations and yet the party still stands by them. I hate finger pointing more than anything. When someone does something wrong call them out don't simply ignore it and point at the other side and blame them or use examples of where they went wrong instead.

If the GOP had somehow helped him shape his administration it would have been ideal. Instead they made excuses for his behaviour and then went ot say nothing at all. Or stood up to him. Anything i would have accepted anything from them.

That i cannot stand and it was then it made me regret my decision.

I have been around enough guys and girls in the last 10 years who have mental issues from serving. This country does not help them and they unfortunately go off the rails. To then see the man in charge act like them and have mental issues and go unchecked is astonishing and sad at the same time.

Sad that people even me thought he would be good for change despite the warnings. He outright lied to people and continues to be an embarrassment.

Sorry if this is more rant like and if its confusing let me know maybe i can elaborate. I am not much of a typist or someone who spends a lot of time in front of a keyboard lol

Knowing what you know now, if given a do-over, what do you think you would do? Vote for Clinton? Abstain? Vote for Stein?

Just curious.

Tough question. To avoid him Clinton would have been the obvious choice. But as I dislike the Clinton's possibly Stein. Dunno tough tough question. If I thought she had a real chance of winning in the swing states then Clinton. But part of me thinks she would have still fluffed it if we had known all we know now you know? Either way clinton and stein would have been a wasted vote lol

Now if it were Sanders and Trump then Sanders as that would have put a sting in Trumps tail and the say nothing do nothing part of my fellow conservatives even more so than Clinton winning.

Not.a fan of Sanders either but I see his appeal and why people like him. I actually thought he would be the candidate and would win
