yea, an overhaul of the system is needed. End citizens united, change the electoral college system and bring in ranked choice voting, maybe even end the filibuster, make PR and DC states etc.
But none of that is going to happen under this administration, so for now, it's important to hold the POTUS accountable for his actions.
It might not matter much to his base but it matters when it comes to other GOP members as well as independents. It also matters when they try to pull the same crap on the next dem president that they pulled on Obama. Just wait till they start crying about the deficit again!

Abolish the private ownership of the means of production while we're at it. These things are hard to do with reformism when it's so corrupted. I dono if any administration can do anything within the system. I like what Bernie has to say. And hope he would use the podium to get people on the streets to force his policies.

yea, I think it dropped 100 points as soon as he tweeted. The further we get from the tax break economic juicing, the more his actions will have consequences.
Problem is that the closer we get to the election, the more desperate he gets and the Chinese know that. They are smelling blood.
I'm pretty sure his plan is to limp to the end of his four years, hope that his tax break can carry the economy that far and then blame the Democrats when the inevitable crapstorm hits.
