I've asked elsewhere and will ask here... has a single GOP member of the committee shown one iota of concern over the fact this investigation was about a foreign state using illegal methods to influence the election for the benefit of the current POTUS, his campaign's part in this as well as their behavior/actions during the investigation?

The whole GOP strategy in this just seems to be old [white] man yelling at cloud, which certainly plays to their base.

I'm not sure what moderate or independent will view this hearing and be swayed by any of their "arguments." This must mean they feel that they can squeak out another election.

So I guess it’s official. Mueller has confirmed that the reason Trump wasn’t indicted was down to DOJ guidance, not innocence or lack of evidence.

I get the reasons not to politically however

I would argue the state of affairs to which you refer is most specific to leadership (political and economic) in this country.

The level of greed and career self-interest over anything else is mind-boggling. Cancerous.
