You swerved my question, how you ever met a Trump supporter, even one?

Viewing America exclusively through social media and your favourite websites has its draw backs - one of them is you tend to get fed a biased narrative littered with exaggeration and lies

Late to this. So does Trump tell the truth then? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Depressingly, yes.

Also, the last part of your post put the final nail in the coffin of irony.

It's been on life support for some time, but you finally killed it.

He clearly lies like all politicians. Problem is when people refuse to believe literally anything he says. Stuff like on jobs and unemployment, those stats can be cross checked
No, the problem is that he lies almost constantly, then gets surprised when people don't believe him on the few occasions he tells the truth.

Although your premise is garbage anyway to be honest - no one doesn't believe the unemployment figures (unlike HIM, who claimed that Obama's figures were false) - they just question how much he has to do with them (as has been questioned about every President, well... ever)

Not being funny, and he may well be the best President in the world ever, but when he says the US Army controlled the airports in 1755, I have to lob a huge spoon of salt on anything else he says.

Not disagreeing with you - that comment was pure nonsense. He comes out with a lot of crap, don't deny it. That's part of his appeal though. Clinton lost because she was a robot, another identikit politician. America wanted something different and probably will do so again. I've met people who don't like him, don't like the things he says but will still vote for him because he's still better than the alternative - another career politician or elitist who thinks the values of New York or San Francisco should be forced on everyone

Part of his appeal is that he’s a moron who knows literally nothing about anything?

Says a lot for his base. You’re right though, no way should we characterise them!

Also I think what you mean to say is that a MINORITY of America wanted something different.

Also FYI, he’s literally a billionaire who lives in a gold apartment in NEW YORK. Damn those coastal elites eh?
