Whats really daft is simply closing the southern border. Its contradictory to his beliefs.

Other than destroying industry what would it accomplish.

Going off his logic currently they walk over the unprotected border-less land hence his wall proposal.

He does realise that if they wanted to they can still fly in or get boats that come north.

The problem is he doesn't care that 99% of those using the southern borders are either US citizens or green card holders who work in the US and pay taxes here. Some choose to live in Mexico just over the border because its cheaper.

Tourism would be affected big time also. Not forgetting in San Diego you can fly out of Tijuana airport by parking in the US and getting a bridge across.

Oh and the industry that relies on easy travel.

Those spineless border agent leaders in San Diego need their heads wobbled. Surely they would point out these facts. I think they are pandering to him and lying to him to the extent of the illegals. given that they have the data on how illegals enter its surprising they welcome him and lick his ahole.

That guy in Arizona or New Mexico who stood up to him deserves credit the sheriff on one of the border cities.

Ironically the one thing that closing the border WOULD impact is the illegal drugs coming into the country, since 90-odd percent of it comes in through ports of entry. But if course he can’t say that, because he lies and says they come in through unprotected parts of the border, as justification for the wall.

Logically if you have done nothing wrong why wouldn't you release them. Then you get to tell the opposition to go do one once you prove them so very wrong.
